Oh my, dear readers. I need your help.
I can’t get myself back to a daily practice on my own, apparently. Somewhere along the way, my discipline packed up its bags and left me stranded. As a result, most days I wake up with the triumphant mantra of “I Will Practice!”, put on my yoga clothes, and then drink coffee and read books and blogs until its time to shower and get dressed for work. This does not constitute a yoga practice. And I know someone out there is speaking to me through their computer screen, saying, “Stop blogging this instant and go practice!” but you’re too late. I already missed my window of opportunity this morning. I’m showered and coiffed and I’ve donned my new(ish) green dress. I do plan to practice this evening after work. Really, I do.
In order to cement my wavering solidarity, I’m posting my goals here for all to see. Yes, that’s right. I’m asking you all to help keep me on track.
So this week’s goals… Practice at home this afternoon, Thursday morning, and Saturday morning. On Friday, I have a morning meeting in SB, so I plan to wake up at 4 a.m. and drive to Santa Barbara for practice at the shala. Wednesday is a moonday, so I’m taking that day as a rest day that I don’t even need.
