Back to the mat tonight, methinks. I’m going to a flow class at the gym. Why? Because it’s free. Oh yeah, sure… my home practice is free too… but I know I won’t do it because I never do if it’s evening. Like I always say, morning self practice is fairly easy because once you’re up, there’s only one thing you’d rather be doing: sleeping. But in the afternoon, after work… there are so many other things distracting me. I just can’t do it.
Oh, and I also know that as soon as we start our first Surya Namaskara “C” variation that I’ll probably get a little huffy and I’ll wish that I was in my little yoga room in my house doing my practice. But I’ll get over it. I just need to move a little and I’m still technically on ladies holiday, so maybe I can get back to my own practice tomorrow morning.
I’m just a little concerned about the finger, but I figure I’ll probably just be spending time in balasana instead of downdog every so often. And maybe no handstands or arm balances except for maybe pincha mayurasana or any of the seven headstands from intermediate.
