The gifts are all shopped for and purchased, and are currently strewn throughout the house, awaiting their shiny paper costumes and curly ribbons.
My coworker bought his daughter a new piano for Christmas. All this talk about pianos makes me want one. Well, I have one, but I rent it. And I don’t know if the piano will come with us in the move or not, I’m not sure we have a spot in the new house for a piano quite yet. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. There are other things I want that are just as unattainable of course: a horse or two, a flock of sheep or goats for milking, an olive grove to press my own olive oil… and a piano. Hmm… I think I’ll be needing some more property for all of this. 2 acres just ain’t enough, especially if Taylor gets the MX track he wants. 🙂
My little ninja friend ended up with the Giraffe last night. And me? I got a 3-tiered pie/plate stand (kind of like this one). Which will be great for all the pies I make. Oh wait. I’ve never made a pie. Oh well. Maybe it’s time to start.
