Hmm. As much as I feel like I should go, that’s an extra 5 hours of my day that could be used for homework, housekeeping, or general relaxation (3 hours of driving, 90 minutes of practice, 30 minutes of coffee/bathroom breaks). But if I stayed home, it would probably equate to 1 more hour of sleep, 30 minutes of practice prep, 90 minutes of practice, and 2 hours of general goofing off before I have to be at the Center for 12 p.m. led primary. What to do, what to do…
I guess I’ll leave it up to A. If she wants to go, then I’ll go. If not, I’ll stay.
I fell on my mountain bike today and broke my fall with my hand. Ouch. Once again, I didn’t fall anywhere I should have…. All those times on the downhill when I wonder if I’ll die? I don’t. I just hang on for dear life and somehow make it to the bottom of the hill unharmed. I just fall after I’ve stopped. Stupid clipless pedals. I’ve got a few scrapes and a nice bruise on my knee cap. Ali said I should wear shorts at yoga tomorrow to show off my “battle wounds.” “Scars are sexy,” she says. Good thing, because if I’m gonna continue riding that bike I’ll be covered in gashes, bumps and bruises soon enough.
