if you choose violin instead of cello, i know of a great teacher
French Laundry is indeed amazing! I found it difficult to reservations, but it was worth the effort.
If you’re in NY, you could also try Per Se, also a Thomas Keller restaurant, which I think is the best restaurant in the US currently. It’s easier to get reservations and it’s better to have lunch anway so that you have the rest of the day to digest your fabulous meal.
