Well, it’s Tuesday again. And considering I’m leaving for San Diego on FRIDAY, I figured I better get on the ball and get my father’s day shopping done.
Dads are tough to shop for. Normally. But not this year. Cakewalk this year. Ever since I caught an episode of the Discovery Channel’s miniseries, Planet Earth, I knew my dad would love it. And lucky for me, the BBC version (which is apparently almost identical to the American version, except that it’s narrated by Sir David Attenborough instead of Sigourney Weaver) is available via Amazon in this very nice boxed set.
He should receive it today. I had to send it early, as he’s leaving for Alaska this week.
Now he just needs a DVD player so he can watch it at his temporary home away from home in Alabama. Did I mention? He was brought on staff as Assistant Offensive Coordinator here. Go Tigers!
