I’m bringing my slippers to work. In a few short hours, my not-so-comfy-but-oh-so-business-casual Kenneth Cole heels will be discarded in a pile under my desk while I sport this year’s latest fashion trend: Office Slippers. Why didn’t I think of this before?
Maybe tomorrow I’ll bring an afghan blanket for my lap.
I went to a meeting at a factory in Inchon, Korea a few years ago. When we got there, we were greated by the staff standing in front of the building holding American flags, then they took us up the steps to the third floor offices, where we all took off our shoes and put on slippers that they had lined up outside the door.
